I graduated with a 2.1 in Philosophy, Religion and Ethics from Heythrop College, London. I now work as a freelance tutor.I am currently completing my TEFL qualification with a view to learn another language and teach abroad in the future,

I am particularly interested in existentialist thought, environmental studies, linguistics (grammar is fascinating to me), and the arts. I am a big lover of drama and the written word in the form of plays, scripts. I have a real passion for English literature and all the classic texts. The effect of art on the psyche interests me a lot also and the interplay of art with thought,

Tutoring Experience

I assisted a girl with learning disabilities with homework while I babysat her. I have a lot of child minding experience which included homework help in a lot of areas. I assisted on the Tutor+ scheme at my university for children in the area near my University (Kensington area.) I have good experience of helping one-on-one and teaching small groups of children.

Tutoring Approach

Each student ought to be assessed properly to gauge what is desired by the student and how to provide that. Things like time scale, level of prior knowledge, and what end result is desired are things I would take into account.
I would follow specifications to guide me in teaching. Equally, I can assist in a more flexible way with whatever particular project the student is working on.
I want to inspire and enhance the learning experience as much as possible while I teach.
I offer a level of commitment and respect to the student as I help further their educational experience.
