I am a Mathematics graduate who has great interest and desire in the development of young people. I see my contribution to the growth of young people as something that is very self-rewarding and motivating and as a result always aim to produce the best quality work in order to continue this.
I have mentored academically through my Sixth Form years, I have also worked in a Children's Hospice and this experience was added inspiration into young people's development.
Building a good relationship with the tutee is something is of extreme importance to me. I like to make the tutee feel comfortable with querying with whatever issues they may in a topic. This is also important as I believe one-to-one sessions help me understand and identify in greater detail what assistance they need on a topic and the areas for development and progress. I also aim to encourage whilst working the tutee hard to their full potential, all in preparation for test/exam period. Material for the tutee will be provided in order to develop and monitor progress.
