Humanities Teacher and musician.
I have just returned from Italy where I taught English as a Foreign Language in one of the largest language academies in Italy, voted the best Cambridge Exam Centre in Europe. I also taught in public (state) schools on European PON (Programma Operativo Nazionale) projects.
I have also taught English in Spain and have also taught Music at state school as a CLIL Teacher.
My approach can, and does, vary according to the student's needs. I have prepared students for exams, teaching exam technique; prepared professionals for presentations, working on fluency and understanding formal delivery.
My approach can be formal and academic (think exam technique and grammar), or more relaxed and colloquial which is a better approach for speaking confidence and fluency.
Writing is a skill I like to encourage and is something I like to use to bring things together learned in class, and to use the language creatively.
I am keen on phonetics and encouraging a good accent.
