I'm a young, enthusiastic British/American language teacher who thrives of finding the best ways to motivate and assist learning in my students. I love languages, travel and discovering new cultures - all which fit well with being a language teacher.
I've taught English and Spanish in various countries around the world to learners of all ages. I have a degree in Modern Languages and a TEFL certificate. From teaching classrooms to 1 on 1 lessons, I've learned to focus on the individuals and what they need to be able to advance as quick as possible. Having myself learned 2 second languages I feel I understand well how the learner can feel while faced with the overwhelming task of digesting an entire language, and so I know how to break things down to a manageable size.
I believe in a communicative and interactive approach to learning. I think lessons should be engaging and tailored to my students interests and language needs. The main focus should be communication, as that's what we all hope to do, and my teaching methods reflect this.
