Jonathan

I've a strong interest in critical policy analysis, psychoanalytic theory within political analysis, political theory and philosophy, postructuralism, identity and cultural theory, regulation and sociology of the professions, role of counselling and psychotherapy within society. This is not an exhaustive list of my interests, and I can provide support in most areas of sociology and cultural studies. I have also enjoyed providing feedback on academic assignments within social work.

In addition to tutorial work, I work within the field of social care and mental health as a support worker.

Tutoring Experience

I gained three years of teaching experience at the University of Essex. This included whole class teaching, providing one to one tutorial support , marking and feedback on essays, and exam marking.

Tutoring Approach

I take a student-centred approach. This means I can provide help that is tailor made to your particular needs and circumstances. I provide the following services:
- Proof-reading.
- Help with structuring essays and dissertations.
- Provision of extensive feedback on written work and how to improve it.

Please feel free to contact me to discuss your needs or to ask me any questions.

Thanks

Jonathan
