I am a final year, graduate entry medical student at Imperial College London – one of the world’s top medical schools, offering a complete medical school tutoring package:
Get into medicine:
End-to-end support for school students applying to medical school, including UKCAT revision, personal statement guiding and interview coaching. I have sat as a panel member for numerours medical school interviews giving me an invaluable insight into what they are looking for!
Personalised support and guidance to help you understand anatomy, physiology and biochemistry that is so crucial to a successful medical career.
Invaluable experience and one-to-one support on medicine, surgery and specialties, to help you pass exams and become a safe and competent F1.
I graduated from my first degree top of my class and with a first class honours BSc
Applying to medicine I received three unconditional offers -- all from top London medical schools -- on my first ever application cycle
I graduated my pre-clinical years with distinction, and achieved distinctions and merits across all written and practical examinations in part 1 of my medical school Finals.
I am an active member of Imperial's Medical Education society, and have delivered a series of clinical and scientific lectures to younger years, receiving unanimously positive feedback.
I have experience across a number of different formats: from large lectures, to group teaching, to one-on-one tutoring.
I have completed a week long, dedicated 'teaching skills' course which I passed 'Above expectations' -- the highest level possible.
Prior to studying medicine I worked for a major cancer research charity where it was my responsibility to teach other staff, patients and the public of a wide variety of topics.
I am friendly and approachable, with a down-to-earth manner and a good sense of humour.
I aim for my sessions to be challenging to the student, focussing on the areas they find hardest or are weakest in order to develop these skills quickly and so the student gets the most from the time we have available.
I tailor my sessions to the student's specific aims and requirements -- and use role play and interactive work as well as more traditional teaching methods to draw the best out of the student.
I am available to give tutoring in-person and/or online.
Please do get in contact if would like to have a chat or have any questions -- I look forward to hearing from you.
