Tutoring Experience

I completed my PGCE at university of Brighton in 2007, I taught in Bognor and Horsham schools up to GCSE level. I have worked as a part-time tutor for several years in maths and currently work in a local secondary school providing maths tuition two days a week.

Tutoring Approach

As an engineer, I have practical applications for mathematics which motivates the student to see a use for the application. I am very keen on practical examples that will help the student to remember and associate different maths principles. I have been very successful in taking students predicted below C grade at foundation level to grade C pass by mainly installing confidence and motivating them to succeed and believe that they can do maths.
