I recently won first prize for the Chopin/Liszt class in the North London Music Festival, and passed my ARSM diploma. I now want to share what I have learnt, and help others on their journey to learning piano.

I cover a wide range of genres, from classical, jazz, rock and modern music. I aim to teach students pieces which they will enjoy, and will help improve their technique.

I charge £15 for a half hour lesson, or £30 for an hour lesson.

Tutoring Experience

I have 20 years of piano playing experience, and recently passed my ARSM piano diploma with a merit. Furthermore, I passed my Grade 7 and Grade 8 piano exams with merits too. I have also passed my Grades 1-5 in music theory.

Tutoring Approach

I aim to have a nice, laid back approach, and help students learn by giving them pieces they enjoy, alongside pieces that will help improve their technique and ability. When students play pieces they enjoy, they will be more stimulated, and willing to learn, and this will help with their experience of learning piano.

I will start the lesson with a theory session, as this will lay the foundation for their knowledge of piano.
