Information About Jody - Milton Keynes tutor - (1 review)
This is how 3 referees rated Jody:
I am imagining that most people put the same thing, but I love my subject, Science is in everything we do and with it being increasingly important I think it is vital you do the best you can. I am female, 30 years old and have been teaching for 6 years, in that time I have been rated as "outstanding" twice by Ofsted as my passion for what I do always shines through. I am full of energy for my subject and have never come across a student I have not been able to teach my subject extremely well.
I am currently an AST (Advanced Skills Teacher) in Science. I have taught across KS3, 4 and 5 for the last 6 years. (A level Chemistry). I have taught adult education alongside 11-18 year olds. I have tutored Maths and Science before up to A level. I have worked in 3 schools in the last 6 years since qualifying, previous to that I worked in 2 schools as an unqualified teacher. Teaching means the world to me and I have track records of students exceeding their FFT (D) by up to 4 grades above target.
I adapt to the needs of my students as all good teachers do. I make sure that your prefered learning style is adopted so that taking on subject matter becomes easier. I make sure that we work hard together as a team so that you get the most for your money. My strategies are proven to work and as a result my students do well. I do not wish to be evasive but my approach to tutoring differs to the student in front of me.
