I am an experienced teacher and tutor. I offer tuition before and after school as well as at the weekend. If you are a working parent, I am able to offer a service where I arrive at your home in time for you leaving for work, teach your child/children and then walk them to school. The cost of this service from 7am to school drop off is £80. Earlier/later start times are also possible.

Tutoring Experience

I have 9 years experience of teaching KS1 and KS2 children. I am an experienced tutor, including preparing children for the KS1 and KS2 SATS. I have consistently been graded as an outstanding teacher.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to tutoring will depend on what you, as the parent/guardian, would like your child to achieve from their time with me. Some parents might specify that they would like me to work on a specific area, which I am happy to do. Other parents would rather I take a more general approach, which I am also pleased to accommodate. Either way, I will firstly carry out some informal assessments in the areas we decide I will focus on, so that I can identify any gaps in your child's learning, with a view to then accelerating their progress.

I will enjoy getting to know your child so that I can understand how they learn best and also get a feel for how to motivate and inspire them.
