I am a Primary teacher who enjoys sharing the learning experience with children and adults alike. I have taught in this country and abroad, teaching English in Japan for a year. I am a qualified Brownie and Guide leader, and like to make learning as interactive as possible for all of the people I work with. I possess current DBS clearance and am happy to give out details when meeting clients.
I am an experienced Year 6 teacher, who has taught in all year groups in KS2. I have prepared children for SATs exams under the new curriculum, as well as Kent Test preparation. I have taught abroad in Japan for a year, teaching secondary students English in a school as part of their curriculum.
I believe that all people learn best when they are engaged with relevant and motivating material, and when the lessons provide opportunities for interactivity. It is important that students know what standards they are striving to meet, so that we can share the success together, and engage as much as possible during the time that we have.
