I am a music graduate from the University of Manchester. I play and teach the flute, clarinet and saxophone. Although I have now graduated I enjoy performing regularly. My other interests include dancing and baking.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching music privately for several years, mainly teaching primary and secondary school aged children. I do however also have experience teaching adults. For the last year I have also worked for Rochdale Music Service, teaching curriculum music, instrumental lessons and music theory.

Tutoring Approach

I believe music lessons should always be fun and engaging. I tailor lessons to each pupil's individual requirements, whether that means progressing through music exams or learning fun pieces and different musical styles. Particularly with beginner pupils I aim to incorporate elements of music theory within instrumental lessons to create a strong base for further musical education and experience.
