I am a young, engaging, dynamic and friendly individual. I am a graduate from the University of Nottingham, and completed by PGCE at the University of Sheffield and I currently work as a year 5 teacher in Seven Kings. I have a passion for teaching and helping every child progress and move on to greater aims. I am a very enthusiastic teacher who instils positive and good self esteem into all of my students.
I am a fully qualified (DBS checked teacher) with a PGCE. I am currently teaching Year 5 at Seven Kings Primary School and have been in teaching for 8 years. Many of my students have gone on to pass the 11 plus in the Borough of Redbridge. I am well liked by students and parents and love watching them progress. I have also been tutoring for the past few years at tuition centres in Barking and Dagenham where I have seen continuous progress with my regular students.
I will make all tuition specific to specifications and the needs of the individual student and I always ensure that they know the basics before moving on to more advanced information and techniques. I ensure that all my teaching and tuition is engaging and includes a range of activities so that it suits the needs of the learner. My approach is to always have extension activities and further learning ready to push my students up to the next level. I am an extremely enthusiastic teacher which gives the students a 'can-do' attitude which is half the battle! I am also full aware of the national curriculum and will incorporate that into my tuition.
I am happy to provide homework after every session related to what we have been learning.
