Javier is kind and friendly but also an efficient, experienced tutor. Lessons with him are fun and cover a variety of skills -- conversation, reading and comprehension, plus games. We have really enjoyed our lessons with Javier and recommend him!

Javier is wonderful! He has been coming to our house weekly to work with my son (now 10) for 4 years. Recently Javier has started working with my younger son too. He is extremely reliable and always exceptionally well prepared. Both my sons love him and always look forward to the lessons. Their Spanish is developing very well. There is a great mix of conversation, grammar and vocabulary and always an emphasis on having fun while learning - so lots of games and role-play. I have no hesitation in recommending Javier without reservation.

Another thing is that they are very lively and clever; that also helps.
I do believe that children need a positive atmosphere to learn so they must be motivated, have fun, and be allowed to be themselves.

Javier taught my son Jack once a week for over a year to help him with GCSE Spanish which he was struggling with at school. It seemed unlikely he would pass it. The two of them got on very well and Javier was very patient with Jack and his confidence has grown significantly. Although we had a regular appointment each week, sometimes we varied the times and Javier always fitted in when he could. He was also very flexible and helpful as the exams drew near. Jack has just taken his GCSE Spanish and feels confident about the result. We will see but, whatever he gets, I am grateful to Javier for helping him enjoy Spanish again and improve his performance so much.

It would be great if Jack's interest in Spanish language and culture would continue after the exams are over. This is probably one of the most important points of learning other languages; that you get to know and understand better other cultures, widening at the same time your views of the world and of society.

Javier has really helped my family and I, he is very well prepared with lots of interactive tasks, he is patient and moves at our pace so we don't feel any pressure. Also by introducing music has really helped my children get involved with learning a new language.
