I am a graduate from Brunel University. I have had two years of experience working within a primary school as a year 5 teacher. For the next academic year, I will be moving to Year 4 as a team leader. I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching Mathematics throughout my teaching career and since completing my second of teaching, my passion for mathematics has only grown. I am a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual with a proactive mind.
During my second year of teaching, I have had a number of opportunities which have permitted me to further understand the importance of Maths in the development of young children. I have taken on the responsibility of all the Maths planning across the year group as well as being part of the Maths team and implementing new ideas across the school.
My skills include being organised, communicating well, being adaptable and creative. I have been described as ‘warm and approachable’. This is a vital quality to ensure others feel valued and comfortable to communicate thoughts, ideas and concerns.
