I am an enthusiastic tutor with a passion for language learning. I work full time preparing staff at all levels to use their Welsh in the work place and I enjoy studying languages and language learning methodology in my own time.

I come with a friendly and relaxed approach however sessions will always be suitably planned and well structured within a wider and ongoing learning programme tailored to meet learner needs.

Tutoring Experience

I work full time organising a programme of Welsh learning within Cardiff Council for staff. The focus is applying language to the workplace however staff also acquire the Welsh language for varied contexts. I have been doing this specific role for three years and have in total 9 years experience in language tutoring.

Over this time I have continuously refined my own methods and my approach and have found that a well structured programme with the right content is the most important element of ensuring language acquisition.

Tutoring Approach

I am happy to share an hour or two over a coffee with anyone seeking a personalised approach and this can be repeated at whatever frequency is desired.

I would initially seek to identify your goals and then the first couple of sessions would involve establishing exactly where you are at. I will keep a careful record of your learning as we progress to ensure areas are revised and consolidated. I will also set work to study in your own time to maximise your benefit of the sessions.
