James is the best tutor my son ever had, my son was failing in his GCSE and I was desperate to find someone to shore up his grades however I can, and James came in, really helped to build up his knowledge, exam technique and more importantly his confidence and interests in STEM subjects. I couldn’t be more grateful of him.

James has been working with our daughter Amy for just a short period, and yet has already made an absolutely astonishing difference to her results and confidence in this brief timescale. We are all now feeling much happier and positive about the rest of the academic year ahead. James has implemented very specific procedures to address Amy's ability to confidently recall knowledge, and has focussed directly on exam technique and time management in each session. James sends packages of preparation material in good time ahead of each session, and then works through answers with Amy using the approved mark scheme for each paper. This gives us confidence that the time is being spent in the most efficient way possible - i.e… to prepare her as thoroughly as possible for the actual exam materials she will face this spring. James has a really calm, confident and positive manner and he is definitely helping to rebuild Amy's confidence after a difficult few months last year. She looks forward to the sessions because she finishes them feeling stronger and happier about the subject matter. James has been very responsive to my husband and I on text or calls regarding our questions, and has also helped us feel much more confident about the months ahead. We could not be happier with the work James is doing and would recommend him highly for any student who needs some help with science or maths topics.
