I am a fully qualified teacher of religious studies, philosophy and ethics with a degree in philosophy and a masters degree in philosophy of religion. I am currently undertaking a Phd in philosophy (part time).
I am currently employed as the Head of Religious Education, Philosophy and Ethics at Heckmondwike Grammar School.
I taught undergraduates philosophy for two years at the University of Leeds, and have taught religious studies, philosophy and ethics for six years within secondary schools. For the last 2 years I have been employed as the Head of the Religious Education, Philosophy and Ethics department.
I try to tailor my style of tutoring to the individual needs of the person I'm working with. I strive to break the content down to make it as easy to understand and memorise as possible, and try to relate it to the student's own experiences.
