I am currently a Professional Support Lawyer for a FTSE 50 company, specialising in EU Competition Law. Before this, I undertook my Training Contract at at top 15 UK law firm.
I completed an LLM at the University of Cambridge where I achieved a high 2:1 (67%). Before this, I read LLB Law at the University of Leicester where I graduated with First Class Honours (top in my year).
My approach to teaching is very hands-on. The first step is to break down and explain topics/concepts in a concise and accessible manner. The second stage is to help my students apply these principles to past exam questions. I believe that this latter stage (exam technique) is the key to helping students obtain top-marks. As a result, I always provide my students with a model answer / skeleton structure in each lesson so that they can use this as a template for their exam preparation.
In addition, I also have extensive experience of assisting students complete applications for Training Contracts at top UK law firms. This includes writing suggested answers, tailored to their CV's.
If anyone is interested, please contact me for further information.
My price for tuition is very competitive - £20 per hour.
I have been working as a Freelance Law Tutor since 2013, teaching all LLB modules and a number of more specialised subjects. These include; (1) Competition Law (2) Employment Law (3) Company Law (4) Criminal Justice and (5) International Commercial Litigation.
I have also been offered freelance teaching roles at a number of universities in the East Midlands region (including Leicester and Nottingham).
My approach focuses very much on exam technique. I genuinely believe that 95% of succeeding in law school is preparing well for exams. As explained above, I can offer my students skeleton structures to common exam questions, as well as concise, exam focused, revision notes.
