I am currently a Professional Support Lawyer for a FTSE 50 company. Before this, I undertook my Training Contract at at top 15 UK law firm.
I completed an LLM at the University of Cambridge where I achieved a high 2:1 (67%). Before this, I read LLB Law at the University of Leicester where I graduated with First Class Honours (top in my year).
My approach to teaching is very hands-on. The first step is to break down and explain topics/concepts in a concise and accessible manner. The second stage is to help my students apply these principles to past exam questions. I believe that this latter stage (exam technique) is the key to helping students obtain top-marks in exams.
I also have a precedent-bank of model answers/skeleton structures to common answers for most LLB topics. These are a fantastic road map to help guide you when tackling your exams.
In addition, I also have extensive experience of assisting students complete applications for Training Contracts at top UK law firms. This includes writing suggested answers, tailored to their CV's.
If anyone is interested, please contact me for further information.
My hourly rate is £30 per hour.
I have been working as a Freelance Law Tutor since 2013, teaching all LLB modules and a number of more specialised subjects. These include; (1) Competition Law (2) Employment Law (3) Company Law (4) Criminal Justice and (5) International Commercial Litigation.
I have also been offered freelance teaching roles at a number of universities in the East Midlands region (including Leicester and Nottingham).
My approach focuses very much on exam technique. I genuinely believe that 95% of succeeding in law school is preparing well for exams. As explained above, I have a precedent bank of model answers/skeleton structures to common exam questions. Why waste hours trying to figure out how to tackle such questions when I can give you the perfect starting point?
