My teaching is informed by my personal practice research through which I explore the writing of Gilles Deleuze, in particular his work on intensive difference and affect. I have exhibited nationally across the country in a range of venues, both during my studies in Nottingham, in London and subsequently and am very keen to continue developing an active research profile through which I aim to hone a proposal for postgraduate research.
I have 3 years experience delivering teaching and learning in art and design across a range of levels at Stratford-upon-Avon College during which my sessions have four times been graded as ‘Good’ through graded lesson observations with such feedback as ‘All learners were challenged to draw their own conclusions effectively…highly effective questioning by the lecturer encouraged learners to communicate their understanding and reflect upon thoughts and ideas’. (Morley, C. Teaching & Learning Coach, SUAC, 2014)
I am an excellent communicator and passionate about inspiring and motivating students in order for education to function fully as a process of personal enrichment and development.
