Computer Studies / I.T. Lessons in Dartford

I'm an enthusiastic and personable former lecturer at a Further Education College where I taught graphic design for eight years, having previously spent around 25 years working in the graphic design industry itself. I have covered all areas during my career as a graphic designer from initial design brief, creation of ideas through to completion of finished artwork. I have used traditional methods, such as visualising, illustration etc as well as digital pre-press production and planning.

Experienced in print production. I am proficient in a number of graphic design packages including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.

Able to provide one to one tuition to students studying graphic design courses or adults wishing to learn more about design packages for their personal (or business) use.

Tutoring Experience

I taught graphic design at a Further Education College in Kent from 2008 having previously had 25 years experience in the advertising industry. I am now looking forward to providing support and assistance to tutees on a one-to-one basis in any of the following software packages; Adobe InDesign; Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop as well as giving general guidance in graphic design.

Tutoring Approach

I have a great enthusiasm for graphic design and want to support students in this subject to help them to gain confidence in using the software as well as develop their own creative ability.
