I'm James, an experienced STEM tutor. I've worked with children of all ages, abilities and backgrounds, and I'm excited to guide your child on a transformative learning journey. My academic journey has been a triumph, marked by two A*s and an A at A-level in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths.

Venturing deeper into my passion, I earned a first-class Master's degree in Natural Sciences, specialising in Biology and Pharmacology at the prestigious University of Bath. But I'm not just about textbooks – I'm also a sports enthusiast, particularly passionate about hockey. Having played in the highest university league, I bring the values of discipline and teamwork from the sports field into the world of academics. Tutoring Experience

In my tutoring career, I've had the privilege of working with diverse learners, refining my teaching skills along the way. For two enriching years, I was part of the KUMON team, offering guidance in both Maths and English to students aged 2 to 18, spanning primary school to A-level standards.

More recently, I took on a captivating role in STEM education at an English language summer school. Here, I successfully communicated complex concepts to a multicultural group of students, many of whom were not native English speakers. Crafting lessons that transcended language barriers became second nature, reinforcing my commitment to making learning accessible and enjoyable for all.
