I am a graduate from the University of West London with a degree in Criminology and Youth Justice. As I work in a mainstream school with those that have different types of special educational needs I have developed the ability to tutoring on a one to one basis. I am offering tutoring in History, English and Sociology to a range of ages and levels. I aim to help students to achieve their best results and to enjoy the learning process along the way.
I have taught in different schools and to diverse people of different academic levels.
Each student responds differently to different teaching methods, and I believe it is very important to tailor my approach to suit each student individually, depending on how they learn best. I aim to build each student's confidence in their own ability, and to help students to recognise and achieve their own potential.
After having assessed the student's weaknesses, I seek to build confidence by developing the student's skills set in these areas. I maintain a supportive environment, encouraging creativity and supporting students to pursue what they enjoy within the subject.
And these are the ways of practice that I believe can make the student have a great success in their studies.
