I'm a graduate Medical Student with a first-class degree in Medical Science and a bit of a background in neuroscience and genetics. Passionate about research and making science accessible to everyone, no matter what age. On a personal note, always enjoyed reading, badminton and time spent with friends, and spend most of my free time trying to do at least one of these!
I teach clinical skills to junior medical students and have experience in science outreach programmes in schools (teaching neuroscience to secondary school pupils). When I was a researcher I taught practical research skills to undergraduate dissertation students and helped them with literature searches.
I have a relaxed and patient attitude towards teaching; I find that people learn best when they aren't scared to make a mistake. Having had tutoring for my own A-levels, I know the sort of qualities I preferred and I try to emulate those as best as possible.
