I am a friendly and enthusiastic class teacher with four years teaching experience. I have taught year 1 for two years, reception for 1year and I am currently teaching autistic children aged between reception and year 2. I have experience in teaching children who are acquiring English as an additional language, in addition children with a variety of special educational needs. I have a real interest in teaching children phonics in key stage one and have a good knowledge of the phonics screening check.
Three years teaching experience in an outstanding Catholic school and 1 years experience in an ASD unit which is adjoined to a mainstream school. In addition I have completed placements in 3 schools as part of my teaching degree, in years 1, 2 and 3. I studied at St Mary's University, Twickenham and graduated with a 1st class honours degree in Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status.
I am a fun enthusiastic teacher who is keen to achieve great results with all students I work with. I am passionate about my role as a teacher and I know the importance of delivering lessons to children in an enthusiastic way. This enables them to take on board new concepts and learn new skills.
