I am a graduate of History of Art from the Courtauld Institute of Art and hold a Distinction MSc in Psychology from the University of St Andrews. I am a native Spanish and French speaker, and have over 7 years of tutoring experience.
I have 7 years of tutoring experience (Spanish, French, and English) working with students ranging from primary education to university. I have tutored History of Art A-level for the past 5 years and Psychology (IB and A-level) for the past 2 years.
I have been very happy to see many of my tutees over the years surpass their predcited GSCE, A-Levels, and IB marks. This experience has in turn taught me the value of an individualised approach to teaching.
Relating students' success in the subject to their mid-to-long-term goals is crucial in establishing the motivation that will allow them to move forward in our sessions and beyond.
Learning without curiosity is like riding a bike with flat tires. You may get somewhere, but it won't be far, and it will be hard. The thing I am most passionate about is in making learning attractive to my tutees, so that they come out of our lesson having not only understood the content but enjoyed it.
