I graduated with a 2:1 classification MA in History from the University of St Andrews. I spent 5 years teaching English in South Korea. I specialise in essay skills. I have a wealth of global experience having lived in various countries, including Venezuela, Bosnia & Herzegovina, and Canada. I'm enthusiastic, generous, and patient.
As mentioned, I taught English as a Foreign Language in South Korea for 5 years.
Every student has different needs and I always seek to meet those individual needs. I act as a guide, aiming to provide students with the skills, confidence, and awareness to find the answers on their own. I favour the acquisition of knowledge: a comprehensive understanding of any topic makes the skill element much easier. I also believe learning should be enjoyable, not a chore. So I always endeavour to create a comfortable environment for the student to develop in.
