Hi! I am a qualified Physics and Maths teacher in the Hampshire/Berkshire area. I graduated from University College London with a Masters degree in Theoretical Physics. I then obtained a doctorate in Theoretical Physics, again from University College London . Maths and Physics are my passion and I enjoy sharing this passion with my students.
I enjoy outdoor fitness, skiing, running and food.
Qualifications: Masters degree in Physics (UCL), PhD in Mathematical Physics (UCL), PGCE (Southampton University).
I have experience in teaching:
GCSE and Pre-GCSE Maths and Physics
A level Maths and Physics
A level Further Maths
Oxbridge entrance exam preparation (for PAT and Engineering papers)
Degree Level Maths/Physics
I am familiar with and teach all the boards (Edexcel, OCR, AQA etc.)
Having done both my first degree and my doctorate at University College London (invariably ranked as one of the top four British universities) I am very familiar with the system and am well able to prepare students for university entry. I give a deep level of knowledge and understanding of physics and maths to my students by explanation and practice. I also put strong emphasis on exam strategies and techniques to make sure that they achieve the best possible grades.
Please note that I am happy to travel to my tutee's house though I do charge travel expenses in that case.
