Personal Description:

I am a qualified teacher (I have a QTS and a valid CRB/DBS) and possess a computer programming qualification, as well as various teaching certificates. Moreover, I hold a Masters as well as a BSc (Hons) in Information Systems. I am a member of the British Computing Society and British Science Association. In addition, I have a Masters Certificate in TEFL and various computer programming Diplomas and Certificates. I would be delighted to travel to the tutoring venue but the travel distance is a maximum of 5 miles. Alternatively, I can tutor online via Skype.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching since 1999 and have successfully managed and led classes at both primary and secondary schools. This has been helped by my inclusive teaching approach, which respects the individual uniqueness of every child and the importance of the child’s learning outcomes. Through using appropriately developed learning resources, covering the entire curriculum, the lessons are engaging, learning, encourages independent thought and also enjoyable.

Tutoring Approach:

* Assist and nurture student development by encouraging intellectual curiosity and independence in their learning.
* Contributing to the development of students' critical thinking skills.
