London School of Economics (LSE) Graduate in Accounting and Finance. Completed the Teach First Leadership Development Programme and working as a fully qualified Maths teacher.
I am an enthusiastic tutor, driven to support and motivate students to achieve their full academic potential. I am dedicated to ensuring each student's experience of maths is enjoyable yet challenging by tailoring sessions to the individual needs of each tutee.
I have tutored students on a one-to-one and group basis. Being a teacher of maths, I have experience working with students with a variety of ages and skill-sets.
I have improved student attainment by ensuring students develop a deep understanding of each topic so that they are able to apply this knowledge to the context of the new curriculum. Additionally, examination technique is a key aspect to succeeding so the necessary resources are provided for lessons, relevant to the curriculum being studied by the tutee.
Upon meeting the tutee, I devise a tailored programme to suit their individuals needs and timeframe so that lessons, revision and exam preparation can be carefully planned out. My sessions are well-planned and interactive, with all resources provided to best equip each student.
