Professional mechanical engineer at Jaguar Land Rover, I am a private tutor in the evenings and weekends.

Naturally due to my field I can teach sciences and maths up to a-level, and can also help with engineering degrees at universities.

For the record I studied at Coventry University for my BEng and at Warwick for MSc in Mechanical Engineering so I am familiar with both curriculum's, for people who need teaching at University level.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught kids across a wide spectrum, from my minimum secondary school to engineering at degree level.

All students within a very short period of time had their confidence in their subjects boosted immensely, which is why if you decide to see vme you will see how much of a difference I can make in a short amount of time.

On top of this, I do train others in engineering in the workplace, as part of my role as a lead.

Tutoring Approach

My approach is not using the standard methods teachers use at school. It is tailored to each and every student, and is unique in its own way. I first before teaching a topic make sure the pre-requisites are met.

I just use a blank piece of paper and take the student through the topic, writing down as I go step by step. These are my own notes and are tailored to the student and subject. The student keeps the notes at the end for revision.

It is not the generic notes used by others and in fact this route is much better for the student as they learn faster, and usually after only one attempt.

I teach far more effectively then other teachers because I do not rely on existing materials but my own, so the student will progress faster with less lessons with me.
