Harold's Feedback

Harold is very personable with wide-ranging interests but particularly passionate about engineering and the environment. He is up to speed with digital technology and keen to keep up with syllabus developments etc. He gently and patiently, but perhaps rather too slowly, introduced my son to alternative approaches to working through tricky maths questions and exam papers. The drive to his rural home/tutoring location is not for the faint-hearted!

Harold has now been tutoring my son for several weeks. Jamie really enjoys the sessions, He says that Harold explains things very well. He has been very reliable and we are really pleased to have found him.

Harold has been a great help to my daughter and helps her understand the more complex mathematical sides of A-Level Physics. He is friendly and makes the learning experience welcoming and productive.

Harold is a knowledgeable, inspirational and caring. My daughter is really enjoying her tutorials. He is very good at teasing out her mathematical ability and has given her confidence to apply it.

Harold was a gem of a find - very knowledgable with loads of experience in Maths, Physics and Engineering. He knows his stuff and obviously enjoys teaching it. After just a few weeks our son definitely seems to be more confident about his studies.

Harold has been of great help so far teaching me Maths and Physics A Level as a private candidate, he is more than generous with his time and I will continue to use him until I feel confident enough to sit the exams. Highly recommended.

Harold did a fantastic job in helping my son with his A/S Physics.
My son ended up with a B. He was just about to give the subject up before he started working with Harold. His school had prjected him an E grade at best.
Harold has great way of teaching which encourages the student to think for themself which really increasesvtheir confidence.

My son really likes his teaching method and has been given some good advice which will hopefully help him with his exam. Initially we though we would just have one or two lessons but he is really enjoying them so we will continue until his exam next summer.

Helped me understand fundamentals of maths and physics I was lacking to tackle university studies. Very knowledgeable and explains things in a way I understand and remember. Excellent teacher.

An excellent couple of sessions which gave Ella the confidence that she needed - she was even able to tackle a question that most others were unable to do.

I found the assistant i got a great help and it really cleared up some simple issues that has made mechanics a lot easier to understand, thankyou!

Harold has been a great help to my daughter in her A level Mechanics. He explains unfamiliar concepts very well and is very patient in dealing with the struggle towards understanding. He has given her much confidence and I am very hopeful for excellent results in May.
