Hello, I am an enthusiastic and motivational primary school teacher who believes every child can succeed. I have a wide range of experience in tutoring and and have A level's in Biology, Music and Geography at grade B, and Chemistry at grade C. I also have GCSEs in English, Maths, Science, History, Geography, Music, French, Welsh and Religious Studies, all at A* or A. I am very musical and have reached grade 8 standard in clarinet, grade 6 standard saxophone and achieved grade 4 in the piano and oboe. I also have grade 5 in musical theory. For many years I was a valid member of various orchestras, big bands and ensembles.

Tutoring Experience

I am a fully qualified primary school teacher and have a degree in Primary Studies with QTS. I have experience in teaching Nursery through to Year 6 in schools. I have also tutored in both English and Mathematics for a number of years for children from year one to nine.

Tutoring Approach

I believe the approach to tutoring differs for the needs of each individual child. I will use a variety of learning aids such as books, flash cards, computer programs and power-points, which will be suited to the learning needs of the child. I will also ensure that the lessons are enjoyable, and the materials used help the child learn in a fun and interesting way.
