Information About Haf - Mold tutor - (1 review)
This is how 2 referees rated Haf:
I am a supportive, approachable and friendly teacher. I have a BA (Hons) degree in English Literature and an MA in English Literary Research. I have been teaching for 11 years. I also hold a Specialist Assessor qualification and am fully competent in the use of psychometric tests.
I have been teaching at a bilingual secondary school for eleven years. I have a wealth of experience at KS3, GCSE and A Level. I teach all levels and am able to inspire and enthuse all pupils. I also have experience of working closely with students who have additional learning needs, both in the classroom and through 1:1 sessions.
I teach in a variety of ways to suit the individual pupil's needs and preferences. My approach is multi-sensory and I aim to include a range of activities in a lesson to ensure progression. I have language and spelling games and resources to use with dyslexic learners and those with literacy difficulties. I have developed these resources during courses I have attended on dyslexia.
My aim is that all lessons are fun, engaging and challenging. Pupils will develop skills, knowledge and understanding as well as gaining in confidence and having increased self esteem.
For those needing more of a focus on external exams, I have a wealth of first hand knowledge and experience of teaching and examining both GCSE English Language and English Literature.
