I am a mature Particle PhD student at Edinburgh University.

I am also a singer, but began to pursue my academic dreams in physics some years ago. These aspirations have not been in vain as I have excelled in learning and communicating these difficult concepts.

I am passionate about physics, maths and as a musician, I love all things music. I very much feel that that enthusiasm comes through with all my students, and I'm often complimented in how relaxed I make them feel, regardless of the subject taught.

Tutoring Experience

I have been a successful vocal coach for 15 years and my strategies have seen students excel in many areas, from auditions to elite music schools and finalists in the usual television programs.

I have also been teaching maths and physics for a number of years albeit more casually, and use my friendly approach to show students that the sometimes scary topics of maths and physics, are not as daunting as they might first appear.

Tutoring Approach

I'm friendly and enthusiastic. I believe that anyone can achieve their goals and we just need to find the method that clicks with the student.
