I am a 23 year old franco-american currently pursuing a PhD in Neurotechnology at Imperial College. My research aims to fix the spinal cord after an accident to prevent paralysis.
I am currently looking for students who need help in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Biology and would benefit from an enthusiastic tutor.
My educational experience and passion for STEM fields motivates me to help inspire students of any age who need extra support. I went from needing tutoring myself while I as in high school, to obtaining highest honours on my high school diploma (scientific bac S OI). I obtained first degree honours for my MEng in Biomedical Engineering at Imperial College London and went on to get a prestigious CDT scholarship for my PhD. I therefore understand that scientific subjects can appear challenging but love inspiring students to overcome and thrive in these disciplines.
I help students of all ages, either already on a Scientific track who need to prepare their exams (GCSE, A Levels or undergraduates), or younger children challenged in mathematics or science develop their abilities and interest in STEM related fields.
I have done some one on one tutoring, been a teaching assistant for undergraduate students at Imperial College and done some outreach to get kids excited about science!
You can find my CV attached to this email, I charge 50 pounds an hour, or 70 pounds for 2h sessions which I can conduct in either french or english.
My approach has two main focuses which work in tandem to yield best results. I explain to students the tricks to getting good grades and to understanding what teachers are expecting from them which offers a more immediate solution to help them achieve their academic goals. All the while, I also work with students to develop their understanding and curiosity in a given field or discipline in order to help them become independent learners. My aim is to help students along their journey towards academic success, and help them become independent learners so they can achieve whatever academic goals they set themselves.
