Information About Gill - Haverhill tutor - (1 review)
This is how 2 referees rated Gill:
Passionate about language learning!
Enthusiastic and Encouraging;
Strong inter-personal skills and a good communicator;
I have wide experience teaching French to students of all ages and abilities;
20 years as Head of Modern Languages at a boys' prep school in London, teaching all abilities from age 3 to 13, preparing them for CE13+ and Senior School Entrance exams;
Many years of individual tuition, preparing students to sit GCSE, A-Level and University exams;
Adult and Business Courses - tailor-made to fit individual requirements.
I aim to make each tuition session enjoyable for the student; it is important that he or she feels comfortable and at ease in a one to one situation so support and encouragement is given throughout our time together.
I find that a student who is interested and actively engaged in the learning process will make the best progress; with this in mind, I make and use resources that are of interest and relevant to each individual. These can include a variety of interactive activities, including games and worksheets as well as online material.
I like to work closely with the student and, if appropriate, his or her parents to review learning and feedback is always welcome and appreciated.
