I am currently reading for a PhD/DPhil in Biomedical Engineering and Imaging at St Catherine's College, University of Oxford. I am presently conducting my research at The Institute for Biomedical Engineering in the BUBBL: Non-Invasive Therapy & Drug Delivery research group.
I graduated from the University of Nottingham with a First Class Masters Degree in Physics specialising in Medical Physics and Medical Imaging in 2015.
I grew up in Glasgow and attended Mearns Castle High School where I achieved 3 A's at Advanced Higher, 3 A's and 2 B's at Higher, and 8 A's at Intermediate 2.
I am a very approachable and friendly person and in my spare time, I like to row, play football, squash and go to the gym.
In the third year of my undergraduate I spent 6 months working in a school in Nottingham teaching GCSE Level Maths as part of an out reach programme attached to the university.
I have also been heavily involved in many youth leadership programs and groups. I was a counsellor at 5 different summer camps where I organised daily informal educational activities for youths ages 12 to 17. I have also been trained how to interact with kids and engage with them in a respectful and productive manner.
I believe all students are capable of understanding and excelling in Mathematics and Physics, they just sometimes need a personalised, patient and flexible approach. This is what I try to provide for all of my students, and have so far received very positive feedback.
