I am Senior Lecturer at University and Associate Lecturer at Open University. These institutions offer a very wide participation to students coming from across the world and from any background, and of all ages. I am very professional and I always take the learning and experience of my students to heart. Science and music are the passions of my life and this is reflected in my job, attitudes and hobbies.
I have experience of teaching chemistry to post graduate and undergraduate students, and to students undertaking Foundation courses. I am a pre- and university level lecturer since 2006. I teach biology, microbiology, organic, inorganic, analytical and environmental chemistry as well as spectroscopy. My expertise crosses borders with pharmaceutical calculations, formulation, drug delivery, material science and nanotechnology. I also have gained a licence to teach solfeggio and music theory in a Conservatory in Italy. I play and teach piano and trumpet.
Working for years in institutions that are committed to widening participation, I live the invaluable experience of knowing how chemistry is taught in different countries; hence I can adapt myself to a wide variety of learners. Being a lecturer at Open University taught me that students are unique individuals that also learn in an emotional manner. For these reasons I tend to provide the best possible teaching experience.
