Personal Description:

I am a lecturer at Stephenson College, Coalville, Leicestershire. I am a 28 years old individual,who enjoys tutoring and enthusiastic at helping students learn,irrespective of their ability. I see teaching as a hobby and I have made it into my profession after realising my true passion.
I have been involved in teaching since the age of 18 when I was at College. I was selected by my College to be trained to support local secondary school students, who were excluded from school. This was how I realised I had a gift of teaching.

I have over 10 years experience in private tutoring in London,where I resided before now.I just moved to Leicestershire in September 2012 to start my present job and I will like to continue private tutoring,as I have always done.All my previous private tutee were obtained by personal recommendation,so I have not got any reviews on this account yet.

I taught mathematics at Century Youth House. The students were excluded from schools within Havering Council. This was for 3 hours a week during my college free day while I was a student at Barking College to a class size of 10 students.

Received Certificate of Recognition for 100 hours of voluntary work from Secretary of State for Education.

I have been involved in teaching children and working in the Sunday School department from the age of nineteen. Assisting and coordinating activities of the department for every Sunday meeting.

Over the years, I took up more responsibilities, such as becoming a youth leader. In this position I have been responsible for coordinating the group, showing leadership in organising charity activities within the community and the church.

I assisted in the enrolment of students at the beginning of each year.

I also helped in some management issues in the Construction and Built Environment Department. Average classroom size was about 20 students over the three years.

Tutoring Approach:

I attempt to do alot of motivating and mentoring in my tutoring style.

I have ready made materials for most mathematics,physics,chemistry and biology related subjects. As well as civil engineering and construction related courses which is one of my discipline.
