This is how 4 referees rated Gail:
I specialise in Cello (Acoustic and Electric), Singing (Classical and Music Theatre), and Theory for beginners to those wanting to take ABRSM/Trinity Syllabus.
I am a music medals assessor for pre grade students and I am working towards my Diploma in Singing (Trinity Syllabus) and Certificate of Music Educators. I am a Grade 8 cellist and have GCSE and A'Level music.
I will be teaching music to groups of musicians at Bilton C of E Junior School in Rugby, Warwickshire, and Acorns Primary School in Shipston on Stour, near Leamington Spa, from September 2013 onwards.
I will also be assisting at Guilsborough Music Centre, near Northampton, from September 2013 with early years, string orchestra, ad lib group and drama.
I have also taught children English, Maths and Music in Brazil and Tanzania on volunteer projects and internships for a total of 8 months.
For my instrumental lessons I offer a fantastic musical experience whether you are a beginner or have played/ been learning music for some time. I engage in music making whilst ensuring notation, sight reading, aural and theory are being learnt. My instrumental lessons provide a sound basis in music, learning and performing; whilst building confidence in your music ability.
For those wishing to have private GCSE lessons, I offer individual and **Contact Detail Removed** where the GCSE syllabus is taught to prepare students for their examinations and attention is given to the areas that need addressing to ensure a good grade is attained.
The Group GCSE lesson provides an opportunity to share knowledge and experience with other students taking GCSE music and is a better option for families with a smaller budget. Please ask me for details of my Group class if this is of interest to you.
