Having gained a 2:1 in Physiology and Psychology at the University of London (with a Biochemistry supplement). I decided to set up my own business in the design industry.
Here I was involved in coaching gap year/ sandwich students during their industry placement. Following the sale of this business I decided to specialise in my main interest horticulture, especially herbs and scented plants. I now lecture and teach in this field.
Lecturing with interactive talks on horticultural, growth, uses and the use of a balanced ecosystem.
Also practical teaching of skills and on the job training.
Teaching students techniques and acquiring skill sets for industry and design. Showing students how to communicate with the public and deal with professional.
Teaching and learning should be fun and feel natural too. I do this by using examples and practical demonstrations with the things around us, so the student has a real world picture of what they are trying to learn. This is the best way to absorb knowledge and then recall it later.
