Personal Description:

I am a native French speaking tutor, with more than 7 years experience of teaching French. I would like to offer my expertise to pupils, students and professionals to improve their speaking, listening and writing skills in French.

I have also had 6 months training as a French teacher with the South London Consortium, and have a track record of successful mixed-ability teaching in St Olaves Grammar school. I ensure that all my lesson plans and activities (KS2, KS3 and KS4) take account of high ability, medium ability and low ability group pupils. I also have excellent IT skills which can enhance my teaching and increase pupils’ learning.

I have also designed a French conversational programme for intermediate and advanced level.
A 30 day French tuition programme is also available for students who would like to be challenged and join the Fast track programme.
I have my enhanced disclosure. I am available any day of the week.

This great challenge has different levels. At the end of each level you will be able to:

Level 1:
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to use simple verbs in the present tense; engage in basic conversations involving greetings/introduction of self and the description of things; know general expressions and short phrases; and become familiar with the fundamental geography and culture of France and Francophone regions of the world.

Level 2:
Upon successful completion of this :course, the student will be able to engage in conversations involving themselves, each other and their immediate surroundings; name everyday objects, expand their knowledge of French pronunciation through reading and role playing, including increasingly complicated sentences and paragraphs and to gain a better understanding of French and Francophone culture.

Level:3
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to use more complicated French vocabulary in dialogues and written work; to correctly use present and reflexive tenses; and to continue to engage in increasingly complex conversations in French.

Level 4 :
Upon completion of this level, students will have deepened their knowledge acquired in Intermediate 1 and 2 classes, and be able to successfully use all working verb tenses in an interactive manner. Past tense will become very familiar to students at the end of this course with the introduction of Passé Simple and listening and reading exercises in sophisticated past tenses.

Level 5:
Learn to form logical, coherent opinions then present, support, and defend these opinions in debates. Debates must be able to read and synthesize information, and then summarize and support their ideas. Students will develop their speaking, listening, note-taking, and writing skills, and will improve fluency, confidence, and critical thinking skills.

Specialised French Course Each industry comes with its own products and terminology. I can design an individual course to train your employees specifically in the areas most needed by your business.
