This is how 3 referees rated Fraser:
I am a professional theatre director with 20 years' experience. I was the artistic director of a venue in West London and also ran my own international theatre company. For several years I was head of acting at the London College of Music, both undergraduate and junior departments, and I am now head of drama at a West London prep school.
I have been teaching drama for 18 years-at all levels. I have taught at undergraduate level, A-level, GCSE and prep. I have recently started working at EYFS level. I can submit students for professional acting qualifications (at all levels including Diploma and Teaching) with a preference for the LCM syllabus, although I have also taught the Lamda course. I am also frequently called upon to coach students for entry into drama school and theatre auditions. I also work with EAL students , offering examination entry for oral communication examinations.
Unless the tutee requires coaching for an individual audition, I always find that drama/acting students work better in a small tutorial group (from 2-4) students. Drama is about communication between characters and monologue/soliloquy work is only a small part of the acting process. My fee is per hour and can be shared between 4 students-anymore than 4 and the fee is renegotiable. My approach is very simple-I am a professional theatre and opera director with 20 years' experience, and I treat all students as if they are working with me on a professional basis. This leads to outstanding results. I recently entered 3 10 year old girls for Grade 5 acting, and all 3 received distinctions. This Grade would normally be taken pre GCSE.
