EXPERIENCED - I have worked with young people for the past 12 years within schools, tutoring and in the wider community.
QUALIFIED/PVG - I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Strathclyde and I am also a member of the PVG (protection of vulnerable groups) scheme.
ENTHUSIASTIC - I will always try to ensure every pupil I tutor ends up enjoying mathematics. However I respect the fact that like any other subject maths is not a favourite for every pupil but it is important for education and employment opportunities and I firmly believe that a tutor who clearly shows a passion for his/her subject, helps to instil confidence and positivity within their pupils.
COMMITTED - Young people are the future and I enjoy committing my time to working with them, teaching them to ensure they get the results they want and allowing them to embark on whatever path they choose.

I have worked with young people for the past 12 years within schools, tutoring and in the wider community.
LEVELS - Tutoring is currently offered to pupils studying National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher.
LOCATION - All lessons would normally take place in the pupil's home.
ADDITIONAL - Any materials, including past papers, notes etc used and provided during the lesson will be done at no extra cost.
No deposits are required.
Any lesson that needs to be cancelled due to other commitments by pupils or their family, then the lesson can be re-arranged for another time.
Additional hours will also be made available during school holidays.
Lessons can be 1 - 2 hours long. This will be entirely dependent on the pupil and your budget available.
A lesson which is 1 hour 30 minutes long would be recommended, allowing for balance between a good lesson and other commitments.
However from the pupil's perspective a one hour lesson would suit if they have other commitments and/or other subjects they wish to focus on and a 2 hour lesson would only be recommended close to exam time and the pupil lacks confidence.
