I am 54 years old and currently working part time as a teaching assistant. I am a native Spanish speaker, originally from Lanzarote in the Canary Islands. I have lived 21 years in Exeter. I enjoy salsa music and dancing, as well as cinema and the theatre.
Over the years I have had much experience tutoring Spanish, up to and including degree level. I have enjoyed teaching all ages and all abilities.
As a Spanish person living in England, I can appreciate the difficulties that students can face when learning a foreign language. Because of this, I am told I am a very patient and understanding language teacher. I prepare challenging and motivating lessons. I aim to make my lessons enjoyable, as I believe this is how we learn best.
