I am a fully GTCS registered English teacher with experience delivering GCSE, National 5 and Higher courses. I am a bilingual Spanish speaker having studied the language for over ten years and lived and worked in Madrid. I am a keen writer and sportswoman as well as a passionate reader and lover of travel!

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching for nine years in Scotland with prior experience teaching abroad and in England. In this time, I have delivered a range of courses and have a broad experience of different syllabuses in private and comprehensive sectors. I can tutor both English and Spanish to Higher Level, Advanced Higher for English.

Tutoring Approach

I like to use a variety of methods in my teaching including various technologies and learning styles. I pride myself on my patience and ability to form positive working relationships with my tutees. I adapt my style and approach according to age, need and ability and am willing to discuss this prior to beginning tuition. I have consistently achieved high results both in school and with private tutees. I have lots of experience working with digital platforms to deliver high-quality learning and am available to tutor online using Zoom or similar software. I have worked hard to develop resources that suit online learning and have seen the positive results these can yield.
