My name is Fosca, I am a French 20 years old (soon to be 21). I am in my third year at the University of Cambridge, studying social anthropology. I have studied in both French and International schools, in France and the UK.
I have privately taught French students (aged 9-18) in French, Geography, Economics, Natural Sciences, English, Maths and history. I have also taught foreign students (including English students) in French.
I believe tutoring is a very personal experience where the tutor should always keep in mind the very specific and context-dependent needs and requirements of the pupil. An open-minded and step-by-step approach is always, in my opinion, the best way to develop a growth mindset and positive attitude toward improvement. Each individual needs to be cared for in personalised ways in an effort to avoid one-size-fits-all and normative ethos.
