I am a mechanical engineer who applies the principles of physics to solve real life problems.
I graduated in my home country (Florence, Italy) in 2006 with excellent results and then I moved to Aberdeen to work as an engineer in the Oil & Gas industry. Physics is not only my job – it is my passion. I have a keen interest in physics and I always keep up to date about recent discoveries.
My communication skills are excellent. I regularly attend meetings and present projects to a large audience. This has equipped me with an outstanding communication technique with my students. I am a friendly, calm and confident person who can express concepts in a clear and concise manner.
I offer a 50% discount on the first lesson (max 2 hours).
I taught physics to many A-level students during my university years (2000–2006).
I helped them to achieve great results and I received excellent feedback about my teaching methods.
Everyone is different therefore there is not a single method to teach a specific topic. I first identify the best strategy (practical, theoretical, visual, numerical) that the student is most responsive to and then I apply the method that works best for the student. During my lessons I make use of charts, spreadsheets and real experiments to help students achieve their goals.
