Tutoring Approach:

My teaching approach includes teaching topics in accordance with the relevant specification and focusing on identifying topics that the tutee needs to improve upon.

I am able to develop excellent relationships with tutees to create an environment where they are encouraged to ask as many questions as possible. The fundamental aim is to enable tutees to enjoy the subject, which optimises the probability of success. I attempt to achieve this by making the lessons interesting, relevant & interactive, and by encouraging and praising the performance of the tutee to enhance motivation and confidence.

I often go beyond my allocated time and set & mark homeworks at no extra cost. I am thorough in my assessment of the grade that a tutee is likely to attain. I have extensive question banks which I utilise throughout the course of lessons and homeworks. I have the ability to impart my knowledge of what the examiners are seeking from a candidate and what type of answers are required. Therefore, I am able to offer valuable insights and analysis into how a tutee can achieve the optimal grades based upon my interaction with examiners and my consistent academic success.
